COMMUNICATION

Whew! finally, I'll be able to post my first entry. .

The word 'Communication' comes from com-munis: com:common;public and munia:duties
-Ms. Bulaong (AH3)

Last Friday, Sir De Vera asked us to reflect on what we have learned about Communication. . My group mates and I agreed on defining Communication as:

"Communication exists in different ways, it could be in a form of gestures, words, symbols and signs. Most importantly, communication is irreversible. Once the message has been expressed, communication doesn't have the power to take it back."

Well, definitely it's a fact. People can communicate with each other through gestures, body language or what so ever. Even if you blink an eye, flip your hair or even crossed your arms over your chest it's still a form of communication.

As we were discussing, I realized that Communication is very powerful. In a sense that it can give compliment, make someone happy or it can even hurt a person.

Communication is a process -- the sender (speaker) delivers a message to his listener (audience).

Understanding is a factor that one must have to obtain a good communication between the speaker and the audience. We must understand what the sender is trying to say. Pleasure and Attitude is also on the line. The listener should be interested on the idea given by the sender or else the idea will not be clearly delivered.

It is pretty much obvious that without "Communication" we are nothing. It is something that we must learn and appreciate.

For a while..
